Bio

Born and raised in the deep south, Gerred Lee (pseudonym) began writing in leftover school notebooks shortly after college. Those original stories were imaginative but unrefined, and mercifully never made it out of cardboard boxes in the top of his bedroom closet. He continued to write over the next two decades around work and family commitments producing several completed manuscripts (see below). After receiving consistently positive reviews from friends and family, he decided to take the next step with a mainstream fiction novel titled Stained Glass which he self-published through Christian Faith Publishing in 2018. Most recently, Gerred self-published a fictional novel titled Loup Garou in April of 2022. The serious storyline is interspersed with colorful tales from his father’s childhood in south Louisiana, and also features light-hearted original fables and watercolor drawings by his daughter. The father-daughter pair are presently working on a spin-off children’s book of illustrated fables titled Bayou Gris Gris. You can find clever and inspirational quotes by Gerred and others on the Quotes Page. And finally, on the Projects page, there are examples of some of his other interests including one-of-a-kind stained-glass art pieces and various television programming proposals ready to pitch.

“My hope is that visitors will find something imaginative, engaging and thought-provoking in what I write.”
