“But what if it doesn’t? I’ve been playing along with all this ‘lives are connected’ and ‘what we do matters’ crap. But when I’m alone and there aren’t windows to complete and houses to paint. When all the distractions are gone and things get real quiet.” He paused. “I’ve tried this game before. I’ve asked questions. Asked for help. But nothing ever happens. I just don’t get how you can believe in silence? How you can put your faith in silence? How you can supposedly love, silence?” Pg. 313

Post 28: SG

I just always thought there’d be time later to do all those things I didn’t get around to doing. Then you get busy and before you know it, there’s a knock at the door, and so much is left undone. If only there was a way to match the energy we have when we are young with the experience we get later. Think of how much we could get fixed. And what I’ve noticed is that the more you fix in the world, the more that gets fixed inside you… Pg. 308
